This website is mainly in norwegian, but on this very page you can read a little about ourselves and our sailing yacht Ko-Ko.
There will also be an update in English from our trips.
About Ko-Ko
Ko-Ko is a Najad 570. She is built in Sweden on the Najad yard on Henån, Orust in 2009.
About Haakon and Ellen
Owners are Haakon Dyremyhr, 57 years, married to Ellen Bjerknaes, 58 years.
Circumnavigation 2014 - 15
Our plan now is to participate in the World ARC 2014 - 15.
This is a 26000nm trade wind circumnavigation, it a mix of cruising in company and free time to explore.

We will start in Rodney Bay, St. Lucia on the 11th of January 2014 and return to St. Lucia April 2015, about 15 months later.
Here is our route:
St. Lucia, Panama, Galapagos, Marquesas, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu, Australia with Great Barrier Reef, Bali, Christmas Island, Cocos, Mauritius, Reunion, South Africa, St. Helena, Brasil, Grenada and back to St. Lucia.
We will update the blog daily when we are sailing, mostly in norwegian, but weekly an english summary.
